I really can't put this any better than the original source, so I'm not going to attempt to, but I must must must share. Eric Alva, the very first American soldier injured in the War in Iraq, recently came out of the closet and out against Don't Ask, Don't Tell. More than any other injustice against gay people, I believe the right to be able to openly serve and defend our country is one of the greatest. If you don't believe me, hear it right from him.
